Ok, I almost completed all of my homework, or at least, those which I remember I have. I still have to memorise the stupid Chinese phrases and prepare for Science Team camp. Had some reunions with my primary school classmates.. Sigh, inundated with nostalgia. (Sorry I didn’t post for such a long time)

6/11/08: Bowling with Qinze and Rong sheng. QZ really changed a lot! His hair ain’t curly anymore and he has it in a ah-beng style. And I almost can’t see his belly. Almost. Nothing to comment about RS cos I see him in school almost everyday. He’s in 105.
We went to CDANS Starbowl and bowled for uhm, 2 hours. Almost all of my balls landed in the gutter. I mean, bowling balls.
Last last Saturday, 8/11/08: went out with KKO. We met in Bukit Batok MRT station, then went to lot 1 and bought our tickets for Quantum of Solace, which was at 2pm ++. Since we went there too early (at 11am), we ate lunch, and ambled around.
So FINALLY, 2pm ++ arrived and we could FINALLY get into the dumb cinema and watch the most hyped-up Bond movie. Ever.
Movie was awesome. The gal on the poster ain’t the Bond Girl, people. She’s just an acquaintance whom Bond told what it felt like to kill someone. “There’s only one bullet left. Take a deep breath. Make it count.”
I mistakenly bought a medium-sized popcorn tub (with popcorn, duh) before the movie cos I thought KKO wanted to eat too. But in the end, only I ate it. -.-

11/11/08: Bowling with QZ and RS again

12/11/08: Went out with Qinze, yujun, Yvonne (Lopez) and Eileen (and her little brother, whom she brought along cos “no one else in her family had any time to look after him”.) We met outside west mall and along the way, QZ and I got scammed by this Indian girl in stylo milo clothes. Below is the (roughly-remembered) conversation we had:
Indian Girl (In heavy, heavy Indian accent) (IG): Hello, are you students?
QZ and I: Uhm, ya?
IG: Can I take just a little of your time?
QZ & I: Ok?
IG: Can you tell me if ex-convicts should be given a chance?
QZ & I: Uhm, yes?
IG: (I can’t recall but it was sth like she couldn’t pay for her school fees cos her mother has no job and her father’s an ex-convict or sth... I couldn’t properly, blame it on the ahem, accent... Oh, and that she would deeply appreciate it if we bought 5 pens from her for $10. And FYI, it was those kind of pens you could buy for maybe 50 cents to $1.)

And despite our instincts telling us not to, we bought the pens from her. And because QZ gave her $12, I gave her $12 too cos I didn’t want to come off as cheap. Shit, wasted $6 and stuck with 5 useless pens. Ok, not exactly useless as we haven’t tried them yet. I gave all of them to QZ.

QZ & I: I dun think we need the pens...
IG: No, take it, we need the money to make new and better products. (WTH?!)

Ok, end of conversation, we walked off with useless (not to mention gaudy) pens.

Then met Yvonne outside west mall and then met up with yujun, then in the end, we had to go to mcdonald’s to meet Eileen and her brother. Stumbled into ryan and his parents outside west mall and chatted a bit before chasing up with the girls who slipped away while ryan, QZ and I were talking. -.-
Eileen kept wanting to eat in restaurants. Wtf, so high-maintenance... (Just joking!) In the end, we went to Kopitiam for lunch and then booked our tickets. (We were going to watch a movie.) The girls wanted to watch HSM3 (Eew) and QZ wanted to watch Sing to the dawn cos there were no good shows to watch. I sided with QZ, not cos I wanted to watch that lousy show, but cos if I didn’t sided with him, we had to watch HSM3, which I thought, was worse than sttd (Sing to the dawn). No offence to HSM fans out there, whoever you are. After mindless bickerings, we finally decided to watch sttd cos yujun and Yvonne were jaded by the whole brouhaha and so was I.
After getting our tickets, we went to play in the arcade. After that aimlessly sauntering around in WM (just like I did with KKO in lot 1), it was finally time for the movie. I was not fervent about it. I bought 2 dirnks and 1 tub of popcorn for QZ cos I owed him. (He won me in bowling. =.=)
The movie tanked big-time, and it wasn’t even according to the dumb storyline! Well, it was only given 2 stars in 8 Days’ review, so I can’t really expect much. QZ’s father drove me home after it. Raining heavily.

14/11/08: Went back to SAPS for prize-giving cos I was one of the top scorers in PSLE. (No matter how hard I try to phrase this, it sounds like I’m boasting, but I’m really not. Honest!) As usual, the prize-giving ceremony was humdrum (I received prizes in P1, P2 and P4, but even then, I could only recall myself sleeping til it was time to collect my prize.). Panegyrisations to the PSG, slide shows on the school’s achievements and all, I almost forgot about how excited I was to collect my prize. Many yawns and ramblings later, miss loh asked xinlei and me to take photos. Roy came to support us. Thanks.
Eventually, we collected our prizes. The wait was worth it though, we had reserved seats in the front row while the other prizewinners (P1-P6) sat on the floor and we weren’t berated for talking too loudly.
Yay, got my prize (Popular book vouchers again) and went for reception. Talked to mr koh. He’s visibly plumper now, and his paunch is getting more prominent. Maybe he’s luckier now? (福?)
After that, went home, changed and went to Popular BookFest @ suntec city. Saw dennis in the bus stop. He’s still the same and he has to go back every Friday for scouts. Blah blah. Arrived at suntec eons later. Bought quite a number of books. The end. -.-

21/11/08: Bukit view tutorial CIP. Second time this year. Can’t wait to go there, but I was 20 minutes late (30 minutes – 10 minutes) cos I had to wait for tian qu. =.= anyway, jonathan didn’t go cos his leg was bleeding or sth, and kai siang didn’t go too. (Dun noe why hor?) So only sravana, tian qu and I were there. Turned out that this day was their campfire, so we had to carry lotsa stuff. Anyway, at 3pm, tian qu had to go off cos he said that he was going to some hill/mountain in Malaysia to hike or sth. This day was quite tiring, but still fun cos we got to play with the kids.

24/11/08: Second day of CIP, had to clean up the aftermath of the campfire. Ok, so we only carried in the tables and chairs. Couldn’t find justin or wayne or Jeffrey. Oh ya, justin had a fever on Friday, so I supposed he didn’t come this day. Tian qu didn’t come too, jonathan and KS also. So, like only sravana and I. Can you fathom the horror? Came punctually this day, but had to listen to the teachers preaching to the children about God and stuff. I think they are Christians. Nvm. Then the children had breakfast, then more preaching. Sheesh. I mean prayers are ok, but haven’t they learnt that some of the children (not to mention sravana and I) ain’t Christians? I suppose they think that it’s our choice if we want to listen or not. Ok, so we went out for lunch, went back, then went out for tea break again, finally we could like, leave cos I think both of us were getting quite stultified by the whole helping. Anyway, I got my 16 hours and I’m happy. I think I want to go again nxt year. I wonder where kai sian went though. Jonathan is reasonable cos his leg probably still hurts and maybe his ah ma doesn’t want him to walk too much. And maybe tian qu is too tired from his hiking brouhaha. Hey, im not biased against KS ok, just curious. He never was one to skip appointments.
